1) Starting this game
Just follow the 2 advisors when you begin. After a while when the advisors have got you started with a number of houses, workshops, roads, goods & army buildings it starts getting a little tricky.
NOTE this is not a quick game, to pass through all the Knowledge Tree will take years. But it is the most interesting of games
2) Building Goods
Only one of the first 3 goods that you can make (Steel Marble Planks) will be worth making (your boosted), to find out which one is your boosted goods click on the Main hall and select the relics Tab, this will show a percentage number next the type of goods you are boosted in, This also works for each stage of the game (Crystal , Scrolls , Silk) and so on. To collect other goods you cannot make use the trader.
Start with about 3 goods buildings then keep upgrading them to the max. see note(a1)
3) Supplies workshop's
I have found that eight is a good number to have of workshops although in the early stages of the game 6 may be enough, regardless keep upgrading them to the max .see note(a1)
4) Culture
Culture buildings are required all through the game & keeping a good amount of culture will help with a production bonus .
Note as you pass through the KT (knowledge tree) you will find better culture buildings are available. Build these as soon as possible and replace the buildings you have . See note(a2 & a3). Also for values of culture per grid square see separate page titled Culture
5) The Trader
Trade for other goods by selling your boosted goods. I recommend at a fair rate, 100 this for 100 that is known as a 2 star trade and is a fair .Avoid if you can buying goods at 1 star or 0 star
6) Army Barracks
Build a Barracks and 2 to 3 Armory's then upgrade a little as you progress in the game. (upgrading armory's will help you fight with bigger army's, upgrading barracks will speed up production )see note(a1)
NOTES
a1) For upgrades of Goods, Barracks, Armory, Workshops , MH .(Main hall) will require an amount of your population. So keeping a good stock of population is important, keep upgrading houses to the max .
(a2) If other players visit your world they can handshake (HS)(give neighbourly help) your world, this will give you a culture bonus or speed up your builder or give you a cash bonus on your main hall, If you return the HS and they do the same again you may also find this HS is a golden colour which means you get a supplies bonus as well as a money bonus. HS can be returned every 23hrs
(a3) you will have the opportunity to win bonus buildings in mini games/challenges along the way. Putting too many of these on your world soon fills up all your spare space, So be careful of which you use, also they soon become outdated and will require replacing or upgrading
