Note You do not need to build every AW that you could !

The Tome of Secrets & the Golden Abyss are usually the first 2 of the AW's (Ancient Wonder) you could make . Each AW is ready to be used only when all  Runes have been collected (n1) . 

For me The Golden Abyss is a good place to start as this will give you extra population & coins, then even more population  & coins each time it is upgraded, plus unlike houses it does not increase in size  when upgraded.

The Tome of Secrets is OK but will only give 1 extra KP (knowledge point) every (24 hrs),  this does increase with each upgrade & it also  provides you with Supplies every time a province gets scouted

.To reach the upgrade point of any AW you have to invest some of your KP there (note other players can contribute too(n2)) until the investment is full.

Each AW has specific rewards. listed below (note if playing on PC / Laptop, hover mouse in the AW inventory over an AW and it will show its use)

 

1) Tome Of Secrets Benefits

  1.  - It produces coins every 3 hours. This is a percentage of your Main Hall Coins capacity.
  2.  - It gives you additional population. This is a percentage of the Working Population 

2) The Golden Abyss

  • Benefits
  1.  - It produces coins every 3 hours. This is a percentage of your Main Hall Coins capacity.
  2.  - It gives you additional population. This is a percentage of the Working Population

3) Endless Excavation 

  • Benefits
  1.  - It provides you additional supplies every 24 hours. This is a percentage of your Main Hall Supply Storage capacity.
  2.  - It gives you extra relics for finishing a province.

4) Needles of the Tempest

  • Benefits
  1.  - It increases the strength of Light Ranged Units.
  2.  - It boosts your Barrack's training speed.

5) The Sanctuary

  • Benefits
  1.  - Increases the health of your troops when in battle
  2.  - Provides extra culture for your city as a percentage of your Required Culture.

6) Great Bell Spire

  • Benefits
  1.  - Rewards a certain amount of boosted goods randomly, when opening a Neighborly Help Chest depending on the amount of completed provinces.
  2.  - Increases the time of the polish effect on your cultural buildings.

6) Watchtower Ruins

  • Benefits
  1.  - It boosts the amount of bonus culture of a building when it receives neighborly help.
  2.  - Provides extra culture for your city as a percentage of your required culture.

7) Thrones of the High Men

  • Benefits

 - It gives you additional Ranking Points for each AW construction or upgrade.

 - It gives you extra Culture for each AW construction or upgrade.

8) Dwarven Bulwark

  • Benefits
  1.  - Produces Barracks' Light Melee Units every 3 hours as a percentage of your current squadsize (rounded up to the next whole number).
  2.  - Increases the Barracks' Training Size as a percentage of you current squadsize (rounded up to the next whole number).

9) Mountain Halls

  1.  - Increases the production boosts for your manufactories
  2.  - Provides additional population as a percentage of your Working Population (rounded up to the next whole number).

10) Prosperity Towers

  • Benefits
  1.  - Increases the duration of your "Power of Provision" Spells.
  2. . - Increases the effect of your "Power of Provision" Spells.
  3. . - It produces additional supplies for your city every 3 hours as a percentage of your Main Hall's Supply Storage capacity.

11) Blooming Trader Guild

  • Benefits
  1.  - Reduces the Trader's Fee for non discovered players.
  2.  - Improves the Wholesaler Offers by increasing the amount of goods you will get.
  3.  - Increases the production boost from every portal in your city.

12) Heroes' Forge

  • Benefits
  1.  - Breeds a certain number of Orcs every 24 hours. As a percentage of completed Provinces (rounded up)
  2.  - Increases the strength of your Heavy Melee Units.

13) Shrine of the Shrewdy Shrooms

  • Benefits
  1.  - Produces your Barracks' Light Ranged Units every 3 hours - as a percentage of your current squadsize (rounded up).
  2.  - Each level of your Armories increases the training size in your Barracks

14) Flying Academy

  • Benefits
  • 1.Mercenary Camp training speed increase 15%
  • 2. production of military unit 3 pr hr

15) Maze Of Dark Mater

  • Benefits
  • 1. Mana decay down by 8.8%
  • 2. Mana production 792 per hr

16) Dragon Abbey

  • Benefits
  • 1. Mage units damage + 106%
  • 2. Reward per enchantment used = Mana 1584

17) Temple of Toads

  • Benefits
  • 1 hevey ranged fighters have increased strength
  • 2 produces extra fightera

18) Elvenar trade center

  • Benefits
  • 1 produces devine seeds
  • 2 extra time for magical manufacturing effect

19) Sunset Towers

  • Benefits
  • 1 gain devine seeds  536 per help chest

20) Victory springs

  • Benefits
  • 1 Light  melee have extra strenght 5%
  • 2 training ground speed increase 15%

21) Pryamid of Purification

  • Sentient goods increase by 12% for breading orcs
